Publication: https://cilisos.my/ In March, my university partnered together with Buku Jalanan Chow Kit to tutor children who couldn’t afford tuition. It was to be held every Friday night, from 8:30pm to 10:30pm. I volunteered along with 6 other students. Sounds really noble right? Until I told my parents I’d be teaching in Chow Kit Road.  “Eh there alot of ah guas (transvestites) one.”
